Spring Break

For my spring break, I went to Caberete in Dominican Republic. The place is always windy and its famous for Kite Boarding, so thats exactly what I did. It's a very cool sport but it's not easy. I went with my dad and my sister. Me and my dad both had instructors to teach us how to kite board and it took about 3 days to learn. I went to the beach every day of spring break except for yesterday because thats when I came back. I brought back two shirts that say kiteboarding as souvenirs. I want to go back for the summer because it is my favorite sport now and I want to become a profesional. Well maybe not to that extent but it was an amazing spring break.

Un-blogish

This weekend wasn't really that exciting for me to talk about anything. On Friday I went to Mr. F's church for youth group with my girlfriend Jackie and some of my other friends. On Saturday, I went to my guitar classes and actually learned alot of new things. Then later that day I went to my girlfriends house for a game night with a whole bunch of people and we played taboo, scene it, and man hunt. I guess that was kind of fun so I can talk about something. On Sunday I went to the 56th anniversary that our church had here. When I got home after church, I read all day because I have a B in History and we're having a test on Uncle Tom's Cabin so I need to actually read that book to get an A. So yeah Sunday was pretty boring. I hate reading btw..

Community Service

What I have done to help out the community recently was the 12th man football camp. It is a really nice football camp for disabled kids that wouldn't normally get the oppurtinity to play football. It's really nice to see kids with disabilities be happy by playing a sport that they hardly ever play but have always wanted to play. I took care of a kid named Louis. I think he had just a mild case of autism, nothing real serious. He made me realize that often we take our athletic abilities for granted because there are many kids who can't do half the stuff we are able to do.

Valentines Day Weekend

Soo this was one of the best weekends I have had in a long time. On Friday I went to the movies with some of my friends to see Valentines Day which was a pretty good movie. There were a lot of actors in that movie. On Saturday, there was no guitar classes or cell group which is a huge change being that I do those two things every Saturday. I helped out my mom with some flower arrangements she was doing and fix the garage. Later that night I went to Mikes friends house for a game night. We were supposed to play board games but we ended up playing video games and watched the all star slam dunk contest and it wasn't that great. On Sunday, I went to church as usual. When I got home I tried to work on my project but got to distracted. I went to my girlfriend, Jackie's house because she was my valentine :) We took a bunch of pictures on her sisters Mac, played Rockband, watched part of the all star game, and other stuff. On Monday, I took her out to dinner at Carrabba's because I didn't want to on Valentines because it was crowded everywhere. It was a really nice restaurant, and the food was amazing. Then, she went to my house and we talked for about a good hour and then she left. It was pretty amazing because of this letter that Jackie wrote me for Valentines. :)

SAINTSSS!!

SOOO this was super bowl weekend!!!! Before I start talking about how my Super Bowl day went, I want to mention how I saw Dear John on Friday and it was pretty gay because the ending ruined it. So anyways on Sunday, I got to go to the actual Super Bowl!! I only went to hand out game day guides but I got to see a whole bunch of famous people! I saw Jim Carry and I caught him on video waving at my camera!!! It was pretty great, I also saw basically the whole ESPN cast and many other famous people. Then I went to my girlfriends house to watch the game and the Saints won!! I wanted them to win because they were the under dogs and it was their first appearance in the Super Bowl so they deserved to win. :)

So I have no idea what to write about. I havent written on my blog in forever. I am starting to get the hang of Adobe Illustrator but I like Adobe Photoshop way more. Illustrator is for people who like to draw and I can't draw for my life. I am going to see Dear John this Friday which is a chick flick and I hate chick flicks, but my girlfriend has been bugging me to see that movie with her for almost 2 weeks now. I am probably going to be the only guy in that movie -__-. So yeah thats about it.

Christmas Plans

For my Christmas, I am planning on going to Honduras for the whole break. I am really excited because I get to see all my family and all the people in my uncle's church. Before I leave, my mom is throwing a Christmas party at our house for the Cell Group. We have this party every Christmas and we talk about what we as a Cell Group have done in the past year. Mr. Conn also gives us a huge stocking with lots of candy and chocolate. In Honduras, I play my trombone for my uncle's church. I love spending Christmas over there because my entire family lives over there and they all come together in one house to spend New Years. There's also a lot of food and there is always a huge variety because people bring different types of food every year. I am looking forward to Christmas break not only because of all that, but also there is NO SCHOOL!!
